Player guide
Shops and houses in the spawn districts are rented by sign. No applications, no waiting on staff - walk up, read the sign, right-click.
Spawn districts are lined with signs reading FOR SALE or FOR RENT. The sign tells you the price and, for a rental, how much time each payment buys.
The money comes out of your balance and the plot is yours immediately. You are added to the region straight away, so your build protection is live from that second - nobody else can break your blocks or open your chests.
Rentals expire. Right-click your own sign to extend, or type /rental extend <name>. The sign shows your remaining time and turns red when you are under a day left, and you get a chat warning 24 hours out if you are online to see it.
You can renew forever - just not all at once
Two things to know before you click
/rental leave puts the plot straight back on the market and returns| Right-click a sign | Rent it, or extend it if it is already yours |
| /rental list | Every plot you hold |
| /rental info <name> | Price, owner, and time left |
| /rental extend <name> | Pay again to add another period |
| /rental leave <name> | Give up a plot. No refund |
It is /rental, not /plot
/plot belongs to Towny and is for your town's plots. Spawn rentals are /rental, or the/rent if you prefer. Both do exactly the same thing.Anvils in the spawn districts are protected - they will not chip or shatter no matter how much you rename and repair. That is only true at spawn; an anvil you place out in the world wears out normally.
