Everything, explained

Server Guide

Most of what you will play on this server was written for this server. Sixteen custom plugins sit on top of Towny, mcMMO and MythicMobs — town warfare with real stakes, plots you can buy or rent, dungeons that reset themselves, a mining world that wipes itself every month, chest locks, an auction house, and a Discord that builds itself around your town. Here is all of it, and how to use it.

Town Wars Mayors declare, everyone fights

Towny gives you land. Town Wars gives you a reason to defend it. A war between two towns lets the attacking side break the defender's blocks, puts real money on the table, and moves both towns on a public leaderboard.

How a war runs

Winning

There is exactly one way to win: the attacker plants a war banner inside the defending town and holds it uncontested. Stand near it as a defender and the capture stalls. Wars that end by peace deal, by timing out, or by staff intervention are draws — no winner, no spoils, and both sides get their stake back.

War chest — both towns stake $1,000 Spoils — 15% of the loser's bank, max $5,000, floor $500 Conquest key — an Ascendant crate key to the winning mayor

The underdog multiplier

Beating a town bigger than yours pays up to 2.5×. Farming a town far smaller than yours pays as little as 0.25×. Picking on the weakest town you can legally reach is, by design, the worst-paying strategy on the server.

Who cannot be attacked

If a mayor goes inactive for 21 days the town is handed to its most recently active resident automatically. Towns are never dissolved and never handed to someone equally inactive.

Peace or war — both are playable

Your town chooses its stance. Being open to war earns a daily stipend of $150 to the town bank and +16 bonus claim blocks. Going peaceful costs a $250 daily peace tax and gives those bonus blocks up. Peace is a real, affordable choice — it just is not the free one.

Switching to peaceful takes 24 hours to take effect, so you cannot dodge a declaration you can see coming. Opting back in is instant. You cannot go peaceful while a war is running.

Plot Shop & Rentals Everyone

Shops and houses in staff-built districts are sold and leased by sign. No applications, no waiting on staff — walk up, read the sign, right-click, done.

Buying

Find a sign reading FOR SALE with the price on it. Right-click it. If you can afford it, the money comes out of your balance and the plot is yours permanently. You are added as a region member straight away, so building protection applies immediately.

Renting

Some plots are leased instead of sold — the sign shows FOR RENT and the time each payment buys you. Right-click to take it. To keep it, pay again before it runs out: right-click your own sign, or use /plot extend.

No refunds. Leaving a plot with /plot leave puts it back on the market and returns nothing. It is deliberate — decide before you click.

/plot listevery plot you hold
/plot info [region]price, status, and time left on a lease
/plot extend [region]pay again to add time to a rental

Donor Plots Donor ranks

Rather than assigning donors a numbered box, we let you pick your own ground. Stand where you want to live and claim it. One command, no staff involved.

Stand in the middle of the spot you want and run /claimplot <name>. A square region is created around you, sized by your rank, protected from bedrock to sky. You become the owner, so you can add friends yourself with /rg addmember <plot> <player>.

If the spot overlaps or crowds an existing claim, you are told exactly what you collided with so you know which way to move. Nothing is spent and nothing is used up — try again a few blocks over.

One plot, forever. Everyone gets exactly one, whatever their rank. Ranking up does not give you a second plot — it makes the one you have bigger. Run /claimplot resize and the edges grow outward while the centre, name, members, flags and everything you built stay exactly where they are.

PvP on — fights are allowed Blast proof — creepers, TNT, ghasts, withers, fire and lava cannot damage terrain Full height — nobody tunnels under you or builds over you

/claimplot <name>claim your plot where you are standing
/claimplot infoyour plot, its size, and whether a bigger one is available
/claimplot resizegrow your plot to your current rank's size

Personal Vaults Donor ranks

A real, physical room at spawn that belongs to you. Not a menu — a place you walk into, decorate, and fill with whatever chests you like.

Type /vault. The first time, you are handed the next free cell and it is yours from then on. Every time after that, the same command puts you back in the same room. Staff can name it for you on request.

Your vault is never taken back automatically. Even if a rank lapses, the room stays yours until staff manually free it. There are two sizes: everyone with a donor rank gets a standard cell, and Legend and Ancient can move into a large one with /vault upgrade, which carries everything across for you.

/vaultteleport to your vault

Chest Locks Everyone

Container protection is built for this server. Locking your first chest is not a donor perk — everybody gets at least one lock.

Look at a chest, barrel, shulker box or any of the other 35 lockable container types and type /lock. A few things worth knowing:

1 default 3 / 5 / 8 Mystic / Hero / Champion 10 / 15 Legend / Ancient

/locklock the container you are looking at
/unlockrelease a lock and get the allowance back
/lockseverything you have locked, and how many you have left

Dungeons Everyone

Hand-built dungeons in the live world — not instanced copies, not randomly generated. Staff build each one by hand, stock it with custom MythicMobs bosses, and the plugin resets it on a timer so the next group gets the same fight you did. The first of them are open now, and more are being built.

Getting in

Every dungeon has a sign at its entrance showing its party requirements and its live status — READY, ON COOLDOWN, or DONOR ONLY. Right-click it to request entry. Some dungeons are solo, some need an mcMMO party within a set size range, and some are open to anyone.

Clearing one

A dungeon is cleared by killing its boss, or by emptying the marked treasure chest — depending on how that dungeon was built. Whichever happens first ends the run. Rewards are paid before anyone is moved, so you always get what you earned.

After the clear

The dungeon stays open, just empty. An action-bar timer ticks down for anyone still inside. When it ends, every mob and boss respawns and every loot chest re-rolls its contents. The timer survives server restarts, so nobody can farm a reset by waiting out a reboot.

Destructible dungeons. A few are built so that digging through is part of the puzzle. In those, broken blocks drop nothing — they are not a mining spot — you are teleported to the exit when the dungeon clears, and every block is put back before the next group arrives.

Mimic chests

Some marked chests in a dungeon have a chance of being a mimic — open it and it fights back. You never lose the loot: whatever was in the chest is still yours once the mimic is dead. Treat a quiet room with a lot of chests in it accordingly.

/dungeon info <id>party size, cooldown, and whether it is ready

Dungeon Coins & the Coin Shop Everyone

Dungeons pay in coins as well as loot, and coins are their own currency. You cannot buy them and you cannot craft them — the only faucet is a dungeon.

Most bosses drop Ancient Coins; the largest ones drop Dragon Hoard Coins, worth ten times as much. Spend either at the Coin Shop on crate keys and on cosmetics — hats, emotes, trails and pets.

/coinshopopen the shop and see your balance

Auction House Everyone

Sell to the whole server without owning a shop. Type /ah anywhere in the main world.

The Resource World Everyone

A separate mining world that is wiped and regenerated on the 1st of every month, so the permanent world never turns into a moonscape.

Get in through the portal in the spawn castle, beside the one to spawn. It is 5,000 by 5,000 blocks and has its own nether — a portal you light inside stays inside the pair.

Lastoria & Cirrastia Everyone

Two hand-built cities, and the only two places on the server where you are safe from other players.

Lastoria is the capital, wrapped around spawn. Cirrastia is the second city — a moat, ships moored inside the walls, airships overhead, and a clocktower at its centre.

Playtime Rewards Everyone

Time on the server is rewarded on its own, with nothing to claim and nothing to remember. Every four hours of active play earns you a Naturalist crate key, and it repeats for as long as you keep playing.

Active is the word that matters. Idle time is not counted — stand still for five minutes and the clock stops, so leaving a client running overnight earns exactly nothing. Only real movement, building, chat and commands keep it ticking.

/playtimeyour active hours and how long until the next reward

Boosts Everyone

Two different things get called a boost here. One you earn by voting. The other runs server-wide and lifts everybody online at once.

Vote boost — yours alone

Every site you vote on adds another +10% mcMMO XP, and they stack.

+10% per site voted +70% all seven sites in one sitting 30 min, timer resets to full with every vote

Vote first, then go grind — a full stack across all seven sites is the fastest half-hour of levelling available on the server, and it costs nothing. Boosts survive restarts.

Server-wide boosts — everyone online

A server-wide boost doubles Jobs money or mcMMO XP for every player online, for six hours. They run from activation tokens rather than firing the moment they are granted, so the holder can start one when the server is actually busy. Every activation is announced with the name of the person who started it, and a boss bar shows the multiplier and the time left.

Activating another boost of a type already running extends the timer — it never raises the multiplier. No boost can run longer than 48 hours no matter how many are activated.

How boosts stack

Boosts add, they do not multiply. A 2× server-wide mcMMO boost on top of a full +70% vote stack is 2.7×, not 3.4×. That keeps the number readable in chat and the ceiling predictable.

Every weekend is a free 2× Jobs money weekend for everyone, running Friday 8pm ET through Sunday 8pm ET. Job XP is deliberately left alone, because job levels raise income permanently. A purchased Jobs boost pauses while the weekend runs and resumes afterwards, so none of its time is lost and nothing ever stacks to 4×.

Town Discord Channels Automatic

Found a town and your Discord is already set up. No tickets, no waiting on an admin.

One thing you have to do: run /discord link in game to connect your Minecraft account to your Discord account. Until you do, the plugin does not know which Discord user you are and cannot give you your town's role.

Instant Donor Ranks Donors

Donations apply themselves. There is no staff step, no queue, and no "please wait for an admin" — the payment goes through and your rank, permissions and Discord role update on their own, usually inside a minute.

If something has not landed after a few minutes, open a ticket with your transaction ID and staff can push it through manually.

Our Fair Play Rule

Nothing you can buy on MCLastoria gives you a combat or gameplay advantage. Ever. This is a rule for the whole server, not a slogan.

A paying player and a free player who both put in the same hours end up in the same place. Voting is free and gives you the biggest XP swing on the server.
